I like the wealth of Judaic text and interpretation it draws from. MyBundle.TV - Escaping death, a Hebrew infant is raised in a royal household to become a prince. That said though, there are plent of people who would feel differently and I wouldn't blame them or think they are incorrect, as I don't see anything wrong with wanting something you care about portrayed accurately.įor me it's a few things that put Ten Commandments on top: The Sunset Limited was a film that I remember drawing issue with some theological points whole watching, but didn't let that deter me from enjoying an engaging film.

I don't recall anything standing out in Silence as seeming to have little theological backing, but I also thought it was more of an exploration of the people involved rather than and film to promote theological debate. DeMille's Drama & History movie The Ten Commandments is produced by Paramount & Motion Picture Associates & was released. So there is no baseline for what is and it correct according to Christianity (and to clarify I don't personally subscribe to what the Pope says as that baseline). Of course this issue isn't limited to Christianity, and part of the problem (in my eyes) is there are a lot of people who choose to ignore theology they don't like because it inconveniences their lives. I would mostly agree, but I think one issue is that non-Christian films tend to be all over the place with what Christianity actually says.
